~Wee Wee & moi~ On a sadder note, my dear parents have left for their month long trip to Pattaya - the new workplace of me daddy. My mom's helping him settle in, i.e. clean & pack up the house, nag his ears off, etc. We sent them off at the new Budget Terminal and my goodness, it really does look budget alright..talk about bare and ugly. Oh well, guess you can't complain. But the menu at Han's was really quite interesting... ~Han's Menu (& daddy's hands)~ I'll be joining papa in May! weehoo!! Another holiday to look forward to!16th Feb 07 - the start of my mid-term holidays. 'Coincidentally' the Chinese New Year celebrations occurred simultaneously. My theory: that ain't no coincidence, it's my cheapo uni at work again - depriving us of our much needed rest. sigh...for fear of being sued or worse, adding to my ever-growing collections of B-s & C+s, I had better not mention where. heh.Anyhoos, CNY is the same as always. Visitation sites never change, ang bao money collected also no change..hmm...alone again too. sad. Would have thought this period without K could have been spent better like you know...asserting & enjoying my freedom. haha...as if.But, I did get to spend some precious time with friends and family. For starters, day before CNY eve was a great evening of food, drinks, music and wonderful company. I started the evening by being a glorious 45mins late as I had really bad luck that day. No no..they ain't excuses. Try falling in the bus, missing 2 trains and getting squashed by the mrt station's ez-link gates all in 2 hours..sigh. What a start to the evening.Food at Basil Alcove was yummylicious and well worth the wait! We then headed over to Timbre and luck was with me for once. We got a seat right away and the band was warming up to play. By the time the drinks came, the music was ready to rock (literally). Talk bout good timing. :D The outdoorish feel's great for chilling (on a cool night). Pity the band's second set was way too loud for me liking.
