How Beautiful the hands that served The Wine and the Bread and the sons of the earth How beautiful the feet that walked The long dusty road and the hill to the cross How Beautiful, how beautiful, how beautiful is the body of Christ How Beautiful the heart that bled That took all my sins and bore it instead How beautiful the tender eyes That choose to forgive and never despise How beautiful, how beautiful, how beautiful is the body of Christ And as He lay down His life We offer this sacrifice That we will live just as He died Willing to pay the price Willing to pay the price How Beautiful the radiant bride Who waits for her Groom with His light in her eyes How Beautiful when humble hearts give The fruit of pure love so that others may live How beautiful, how beautiful, how beautiful is the body of Christ How beautiful the feet that bring The sound of good news and the love of the King How Beautiful the hands that serve The wine and the bread and the sons of the Earth How Beautiful, how beautiful, how beautiful is the body of Christ

^A thoughtful night^
Sometimes I wonder...
Why do I bother? Why should I care? Should I be bothered? Should I be sad? Did I do something wrong? Do they not just understand? Should I demand? Should I change? Why should I change? Why should I bother to try? Should I try?
Sometimes I just don't understand...

^In a nutshell^
It's been a bit busy recently and I haven't exactly been updating much have I...oh well. :)
Well, the exams are approaching and my FYP thesis submission is tomorrow which I do not think I will meet anyway. I have got one project and one term paper still due on top of 3 papers to study for so yeah, just thought it would be better to give a shout out now in case people think this blog is gone for good by the time I actually have time to post again. *heh*
Well, I remember mentioning a busy 2008 earlier in this blog and it's now time to strike off some of my To-Do tasks. First up, picking up drummin...alright, so it wasn't a very glamorous shot but hey! for someone who hasn't touched the drum set for 10 years, I didn't do too badly in my opinion. :D So yeah, I performed at this year's RH PhoenixFest with some of the other final years. It really did feel good to do something different once in a while ya know? :)

Next up among the more significant events in Penny's life was my hall's annual Dinner and Dance. The last of all my school-going DnD's, this year's was held at the charming CHIJMES cathedral. Unfortunately, the sound system was really really bad and the food was average only. At $50 per pax (subsidised), I'd say it wasn't a very good deal. I was rather disappointed with the after-dinner plans too. Well, just thought the others would be more enthusiastic about going out considering the next day was a public holiday. Oh well...

The day after RH DnD was the annual DanceUncensored. *sigh* My last ever major dance event. Another item off my 2008 To-Do list - my first ever choreography. A lyrical hiphop-contemporary item co-choreoed with Joot, I must say it turned out pretty good! Well, considering we had less than 10 practices collectively if I am not wrong, and my dancers weren't exactly the most trained in the world, I'd say the final performances were real pretty. :)
I am really proud of my dancers cause I know they tried pretty hard. And their post-DU comments were really sweet and encouraging. They really made me feel like it was worth the time and headaches spent on thinking up steps. Think I'll be back for more next year? I sure hope so..Thank you Raffles Hall Dance...

Well, as the blog title suggests, this was a bit of my life in a nutshell. The photo story for RH DnD is available here while DU's is here. ENJOY!

"I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they go right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart, so that better things can fall together." ~ Marilyn Monroe

^Birthday wishes^
Happy 23rd Birthday Sonia!!
Hey darling,
Really missed all our wild KC days...oh rather, your wild KC days *keke* Still remember the way you used to sit in class, how you towered over Mrs Boey and bullied her and I will never never forget the day you forgot to wear some essentials to school. *wahaha*
Anyhoos, hope you're having a great time in Japan...buy something pretty for me! I don't care even if I have to get it from you in 1 year's time.
